We made it!

Well we survived the hectic first week of school.  Everyone seems to be adjusting well to the school routine.  Hopefully everyone had a restful three day weekend.  Our annual school wide fundraiser is going on this week.  Students are trying hard to sell at least 10 items so they can go to the fundraiser party!  Those who sell 20 items will get to take a limo out to lunch!  Excitement is in the air! There are a few important dates coming up soon so check them out below and mark your calendars:

First deadline for fundraisers---September 6^th 
Deadline for schedule changes-September 9^th

Team Impact assembly---September 13^th   (more info. coming soon)
Sports/Group pictures ---September 20^th
Early release--- September 27^th
Fall pictures---October 7^th
 

Next week I will begin going into classrooms to work with students.  I will visit with the 5^th graders and do  a lesson titled “Surviving Middle School”.  During this lesson a couple of the things we will talk about are improving study skills and being a good friend.
