Okay, so close your eyes for just a moment. Imagine you are sitting in class minding your own business just doing your work.
All of the sudden you hear an announcement on the intercom saying, "Excuse me can you send _______ (YOU)to Mr. McDonald's office?". In your head you are saying, "Me? What did I do?". You break out in a cold sweat as you walk towards the principal's office. When you walk in it is extremely quiet.
So you tiptoe over to the door, peek in, and THIS is what you see:
WOW! You just received a positive referral! Yes, that's right. A POSITIVE referral. Mr. McDonald has received MANY of these over the last couple of weeks. JJHS teachers and staff are recognizing students for GOOD behavior! Mr. McDonald's office is decked out with signs, lights, and music. The positive energy on campus has become contagious. We are so proud of the good choices our students are making!
Thanks to members of the Dallas Metropolitan Jeffersonian Club for donating school supplies to Jefferson Junior High School. It is so nice of them to give back to their hometown. We really appreciate it!
JJHS has had lots of stuff going on this week! Monday we got to see our very own Falsetto Fifth perform for us. What a treat! They were amazing. Wednesday we stayed home due to ice on the roads that morning. That ice didn't stop our choir from heading out to San Antonio though. After a late start they arrived safely Wednesday night.
