Weekly Update

Last week I was able to visit with all of the 7^th graders in Mrs. Gilliam’s Science classes.  Our lesson was titled “ Junior High Success”.  Some of the things we  discussed were having a good attitude, being organized, working hard, planning now for high school and college, college acceptance, community service, and lots of other topics to help us have a great year at JJHS!

This week we have spent the week celebrating Red Ribbon Week!  Students have dressed up, worn ribbons and bracelets, and pledged to "live drug free".  Thanks to the Student Council for a great week! Don't forget that tomorrow we will all dress the part for our future career!

In December the 8^th graders are scheduled to take the EXPLORE test.  This test will help them to begin planning for their future.  More information will be coming soon on EXPLORE!

Good luck to our Bullpups as they head out to play against the Harmony Eagles tonight!

Tomorrow is the day students have been waiting for!  It’s the LIMO RIDE!  The winners of the limo ride will head to Marshall to eat lunch at CiCi’s Pizza with their own chauffeur driving them!  Students are so EXCITED!  

There is also a group of students going to the Jefferson Transportation Center for a field trip.  This is sure to be a FUN FRIDAY!

Red Ribbon Week

Don’t forget that next week is Red Ribbon Week!  All of our Bullpups will pledge to be drug-free.  Look below to see what to wear each day.

Monday- Wear red

Tuesday- Wear wacky/tacky clothing

Wednesday- Wear bright colors

Thursday- Wear a team jersey or t-shirt

Friday- Dress like your chosen profession
